Monthly Bills for Worker Benefit Plans

Billing notices are mailed at the beginning of each month, with payment due by the 15th of the month. The bills will reflect the employee’s Flexible Benefits choices and the costs of each option. If an employee has chosen to increase their coverage at their own expense, or if they wish to participate in the Defined Contribution Pension Plan, the bill will show the amount to be deducted from their pay cheque. If they have decided to decrease their coverage and they wish to take the difference in taxable cash, the bill will provide the amount to be added to their pay cheque. The Billing Statement will also show amount of taxable benefit to be included in payroll income tax calculation.
